Sort Out Durham Road

Spennymoor and Tudhoe's residents are worried about Durham Road – and how the traffic and parking problems may get worse when the new school opens.

Local Lib Dem campaigner Beckie Calder has started a petition to ask the County Council to take action.

We need to act before there’s an accident where children are playing or where parking problems stop emergency services reaching somebody in their hour of need.

We are asking the County Council to prioritise new measures to stop cars speeding down back streets where kids are playing and the problems caused by inconsiderate parking.

You can support the campaign by Beckie and other Lib Dem town councillors, including Bill Thorkildsen, Martin Jones, and Dean Ranyard by adding your name to make our area heard by the County Council, which is responible for roads and traffic.
