Barbara Howarth - Belmont PC (Carrville)

I have lived in Carrville for over 40 years. I was Deputy Head of a school for pupils with learning difficulties and retired 5 years ago. I joined the Liberal Democrats as soon as the party was formed because of their values of supporting individual rights and equal opportunities. I was elected to Belmont Parish Council in 1999, the County Council in 2001 and the City Council in 2003.
