Born in Langley Moor, Maureen Smith has lived in Langley Moor and Meadowfield for most of her life. She represented Langley Moor on the Parish Council from 1999 to 2003. Maureen is a former School Governor and is heavily involved in voluntary work locally.
Maureen was elected to the City Council in May 2003.
