I was born in Durham and have lived in and around Newton Hall for most of my life. I am married with 2 children ages 8 and 5.
Occupation:
I am employed part time as a mortgage advisor for a major bank.
Council Positions:
I was elected to represent Newton Hall North in February 2005 following a by-election. I have responsibility within the Council of being Chair for the Economic Scrutiny panel as well as being an active Ward Member.
Other bodies:
Within my ward I am the secretary for Newton Hall Community Centre and I am on the board of governors for Finchale School.
