Carol Woods is standing up for Durham

Carol Woods and the Lib Dems are fighting to change Durham for the better.

Carol Woods grew up in Durham and now runs a small holiday cottage business here. She understands the issues facing local residents. Carol's top priorities for Durham are:

1. Getting more police on our streets. Durham has suffered huge police cuts under Labour. More bobbies on the beat will help cut crime and the fear of crime.

2. Cutting taxes for middle and low earners. We will cut your tax bill by £700 a year by closing loopholes exploited by the super-rich.

3. Investment in jobs. Unemployment in Durham has doubled under Labour in the last year. Carol and the Lib Dems would invest in bringing jobs to Durham and in helping local businesses.

The Conservatives cannot win in Durham. The only way to beat Labour here is to back Carol Woods and the Lib Dems.
